Lilly House is a national historic landmark. Once a family home, the home and the 52 acres it sits on was donated to the Indianapolis Art Institution and eventually it became what we know as Newfields today.
The archways along the back of Oldfields-Lilly House at Newfields have the perfect symmetry to create this silhouette. The architecture offers a contrast to the gardens, giving you a variety in your engagement photo gallery.
When creating an image like this I ask the couple what their wedding colors are and match the lighting. The color chosen here is meant to look like sunlight as it had rained all day and we wanted to add a little warmth to the session.
