This couple chose the Simon Reading Room as the space for their marriage ceremony. Only available for private events outside of standard operating hours (after 6pm), your can be espoused surrounded by books. The space also features marble staircases, white oak paneled walls and is capable of seating 300 wedding guests theater style. The Central Library provides up to 220 chairs for your ceremony at no additional charge.
The couple pictured here chose the Atrium for their reception following the ceremony but the historic Reading Room was also the space for their cocktail hour. Bars were set up in the corners allowing the guests to sip drinks amongst the stacks.
