The bridal prep room at the Skyline Club in Indianapolis was buzzing with activity for this bride's December wedding day. The bride had chosen red robes for her bridesmaids and and a gold robe for herself to match her wedding colors during prep time. Although she had professional hair and make-up come in for her bridal party, the bride preferred that one of her bridesmaids apply her make-up. This was the scene was I walked into the room. The bride had chosen me as her photographer because she wanted the moments of her wedding day photographed documentary style, I started sshooting before anyone even knew I was there.
The Skyline Club decor perfectly meshed with the bride's Art Deco / Great Gatsby inspired wedding. Large gold frames are on the pictures on the walls and grey and gold striped wallpaper lined the getting ready room.
The bride was incredible gracious and so excited to spend the day with her closest girlfriends. She told me how each one of her bridesmaids had come into her life and how much that woman meant to her. You could tell the feeling was reciprocal, these were some of the most excited bridesmaids you have ever met in your life.
