The bride who carried these flowers down the aisle had dreamed about her wedding day since she was twelve years old. As she planned her day she always knew she wanted cream and blue roses in her bouquet, there are some crystals added and you can see some of the greenery peaking out at the bottom of the arrangement. This is why it's so important that we photograph the details of the day, to preserve all of the plans our couples have made for the biggest day of their lives. The bouquet will wilt, but it will always be beautifully preserved in the couple's wedding photos.
I typically show up to every wedding day about thirty minutes early to style and shoot the wedding day details. Some details, like the wedding rings, will stay with the couple forever while others will be put away and in some cases will wilt and fade. Our couples can relive the details of their wedding day over and over again in their photos.
Styling this image:
The windows at the venue created beautiful directional light, I also used a gray flat lay mat and some cream colored silk styling ribbon to create this photo.
